The King’s Head creative team of the smash Christmas hit Peter Pan is reunited for this summer’s production of The Shadowmaster based on J.M. Barrie’s Dear Brutus, adapted and directed by Artistic Director Stephanie Sinclaire.
Six very different guests are invited to the crumbling mansion of the Machiavellian master of ceremonies, Lob, for a summer house party. They are secretly united by their desire for a ‘second chance’ which they will get in the eerie wood that appears once a year on Midsummer’s Night, but it will be nothing like what they imagine as everything from naughty infidelities to piercing longings and savagely funny hypocrisies are hauntingly and hilariously exposed.
